Everything went smoothly overnight with no significant peaks in pressure. For those who know the numbers, his Intracranial pressure (ICP) is floating in the low 20's right now, with the help of recent doses of medication. . Doctor Ward, Kyle's neurologist, visits every morning and evening. This morning, he described his expectation for the day as "more of the same.". He also talked about possibly bringing Kyle out of the drug-induced coma if his ICP stays low for at least 24 hours without additional doses of medication, probably sometime next week. This is a slow process and is subject to change as always, but we're feeling pretty positive today.
Floy Kay just left after sitting with Kyle through much of the night, and the hospital staff just finished shift change. We're settling into somewhat regular sleep patterns and looking forward to the eventual awakening.

Mark and family -
I read all of the posts, and it sounds like Kyle is an amazing person and has great will, just like his dad. Thanks for keeping everyone updated via the blog and our thoughts and prayers are with all of you as Kyle recovers from this accident.

I don't know Kyle that well, but I've always heard good things about him, and I just wanted to let you know that our whole family is keeping him in our thoughts and prayers.

Arras Family;
My prayers are with your family during this time. I understand the stress and worry that an accident can bring. I wish you all the best and hope for Kyle to have a strong recovery during this critical time. God Bless.

Mark and Kyle,
As we prayed for your Dad/Grandpa and Sugar these past months please know you are lifted in prayer too all the way from Texas. That is the great thing about prayer. It knows no boundaries.
Have faith and stay strong and may God be with you every step of the way. Carole
I wanted to let you know that I called a prayer circle in my area and added Kyle to the prayer list. They are very good people who are very dedicated to praying for those they know are in need of help. I truly believe this helps and I also wanted to let you know that I am also keeping Kyle and your family in my prayers as well. Thank you for the updates and stay strong. Sincerely, Marie Dixon

Dear Arras family,
We will keep Kyle in our thoughts and prayers. Our 15 year old just finished a driver education course and hopefully can learn from this how easily tragedy can befall one who is tired and exhausted at the wheel.
God's speed for a rapid and full recovery for Kyle!
